About Go International
Go International was founded in 1994 and is a division of Tamwood International College Ltd. Go International is a Canadian company that works with partner organizations around the world to deliver its work and travel, international internships, and study abroad programs.
By participating in our programs, students and young people are able to develop the skills they need to live effectively in a global and culturally diverse world. They learn new languages, come to understand different cultures and establish lifelong friendships.
Our staff work hard to continually improve our activities and programs. Most importantly, they rely on one to one communication to keep in touch with the evolving needs of our participants.
We provide full service support for all programs: Go International believes that successful programs require more than just work/training placements, we also provide:
- Information prior to departure: we train our partners to help prepare participants.
- Orientation upon arrival for most programs
- Handbooks
- Ongoing support
- Housing assistance
- Insurance
- 24/7 Emergency contact
- Assistance with social security, taxes, etc.
Go International is a member, through its parent trading company Tamwood International College, of the Federation of International Youth Travel Organizations (FIYTO), the largest and most respected organization in the youth travel industry, and is a member of the Global Work Experience Association (GWEA).
