
Camp Canada Work Program
The Camp Canada Work Program, also known as “CCWP”, is a program that meets the demands of Canadian summer camps for summer staff, while enabling international young people to earn some income to support their holiday in Canada. GO International provides valuable assistance to participants in settling in, finding a summer camp job and getting to know Canada.
Young people can spend an absolutely amazing summer working in Canada and truly “experience” the people, the unique beauty and the adrenaline rush that you can only get from this country. Participants in this program meet locals, gain international work experience, earn money to travel and make the most of their Working holiday in Canada with us.

Max. 12 months
Who Qualifies?
If you are 18-35 years of age, are eligible for the Working Holiday Program or Summer Work Program under one of Canada’s International Youth Mobility Agreements or for a work permit through SWAP, and you are an outgoing person with a positive attitude, good English skills and sense of adventure, you can do these programs.
Must be Citizen of one of the Following Countries:
Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom between 18 and 30 (35 in come cases)**

Work Opportunities
GO International works with lots of summer camps in British Columbia and Ontario. Jobs are mostly seasonal positions. Job opportunities depend on a number of factors including your education, work experience, English level, attitude, motivation, and interview skills as well as your program start and end dates. Most jobs pay $9-$12/hr. Possible jobs include:
- Camp Counsellor
- Sports Instructor*
- English Teacher*
- Arts Instructor*
- Dance Instructor*
- Life Guard*
* These jobs require specific education, certification or prior relevant work experience
Start Dates and Duration
Summer camp jobs are seasonal jobs (summer only). You will have to start your job in June or July and will work only until August.. You must be able to commit to a job for the entire season in order to do this program.
Job Placement Options
Full Service: Participants are offered a job before leaving their home country. They will know before arriving in Canada where they will work, when they will work, how much they will earn, and what they will do. We bring the employers to you!

- Transfer voucher for bus transfer from Vancouver Airport to city centre
- Two nights dorm style accommodation at a downtown youth hostel with continental breakfast included
- Orientation session at GO International offices in Vancouver, covering resources available at GO International and everything you need to know about working and living in Canada
- Walking Tour of Downtown Vancouver
- Processing of your personal Social Insurance Number
- Advice and assistance from GO International’s Program Coordinator to help you find a job and to introduce you to employment opportunities sourced by GO International including free resume writing tutorial
- One Job Offer*
- Exclusive access to GO International’s job and accommodation listings for the full year of the visa
- Free Weekly Resume Writing Workshop
- Internet (one hour per day free access), printing and fax access (at special rates) at any GO International office
- Mail holding service, so you have a contact address as soon as you arrive
- Free call number for general questions or emergencies during office hours
- One year’s membership in the GO International Club, which gives members access to discounts on services, tours and attractions
- Social activities ranging from pub nights to ski trips in Vancouver
- Brochures and maps to familiarize participants with Canada and the local scene
- The GO International handbook called The Essential Guide to Working and Living in Canada.
Optional Services Provided
- Bus Tour of City (hop-on, hop-off)
- Extra nights in the hostel or homestay accommodation
- Upgrade to private room at the hostel (subject to availability)
- English lessons at Tamwood International College in Vancouver or Whistler
