Vancouver Jobs
There are jobs in Vancouver in all months of the year so you can start any time and we recommend you study and work for minimum: 4 months study and 4 months work (6 months of study and work is even better as most Vancouver employers prefer staff who can stay in a job at least 6 months). Study can be done before or after the work practicum or students can integrated their study and work terms and study in the mornings and complete their work practicum at the same time by working in the evenings and on weekends.
Resort Area Jobs
Jobs in resort areas, including Whistler, are seasonal jobs (summer and winter) so if you want to work in a resort area, you will have to start your job in May-June (start of summer) or November-December (start of winter). Summer season jobs are 2-6 months and winter season jobs are 4-6 months in duration. Study can be done before or after the work practicum and in the case of Whistler, study can be done in the mornings and work practicum done in the evenings and on weekends.
