Before applying for a GO International program, you must accept the following program Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation and refund policy. Please read the following very carefully. This is a legally binding agreement.

Work & Travel Australia - Terms & Conditions
- I certify that I meet the eligibility criteria and visa conditions for the destination I have selected.
- The applicable program fee is payable when I submit my application.
- I am a resident of Canada, my nationality is Canadian and I hold a valid Canadian passport.
- I understand that obtaining a valid work visa and all appropriate documentation to my chosen destination country is my own responsibility and is not included in program price.
- I understand I am responsible for all travel expenses to get to the country destination I have chosen and for travel within that country unless otherwise noted in my program package.
- If I have applied for a work program to Australia or New Zealand, I understand that I will need to be active in my job search and be realistic with my work expectations. I understand that this program does not guarantee me a job and that a job offer will be the outcome of a successful interview with an employer on my part.
- If I have chosen a work program to Australia or New Zealand, I understand that I am solely responsible for finding and paying for my own accommodation (expect for program-inclusive arrival accommodation). All expenses relating to housing and daily living including rent, utilities, furnishing, and food are my responsibility.
- Any request for a change of program after initial application, including, but not limited to changing flight dates and program start dates, is subject to a $100 administration fee.
- I must abide by the terms and conditions set by the individual program companies and operators. These include airlines, insurance providers, ground transport operators and accommodation providers. If I am uncertain about these terms and conditions I must contact GO International prior to departure.
- The information provided by GO International on our website and in written materials is accurate as of February 2011. Foreign governments may change regulations that may affect the programs after this date, and this is beyond the control of GO International. If GO International is made aware of regulation changes, GO International will do its utmost to update participants of any changes.
- I understand that the visas issued for all countries are for the individual registrants only. These visas do not permit family members or dependents to travel or work abroad.
- I must take with me evidence of access to at least the minimum funds required by the relevant country and host organization’s rules.
- GO International reserves the right to alter or terminate the program at any time. If affected, I am entitled to a refund of any or all monies paid according to the refund policy below.
- I understand that I am responsible for obtaining medical insurance for the entire duration of my stay.
- I understand that there is no refund for purchased GO International travel insurance.
- I authorize the use of my credit card information to purchase all items listed on this application of which I have clearly marked.
- I confirm that all information stated in my application and all other submitted documentation is correct and I understand that any information proven to be false may result in the cancellation of my program with no refund.
Cancellation, Refund and Program Change Policy
- All bookings are eligible for a 50% refund if program cancellation is received by GO International, in writing, four (4) weeks or more before program start.
- I understand that if I cancel my program less than 4 weeks before my program start date I am not eligible for any refund.
- I understand that obtaining an applicable visa is my responsibility. If my visa application is declined, for whatever reason, the cancellation policies outlined in clause 1 and 2 will apply.
- Notice for cancellation or program changes must be given in writing and emailed to programs@gointernational.ca.
- GO International reserves the right to cancel any participants’ registration at GO International’s discretion.
- If GO international cancels a confirmed booking without cause, it will refund the fees for services not yet rendered to the affected applicant in full.
- GO International reserves the right to deny participation in any GO International program to any participant at GO International’s discretion.
Work & Travel New Zealand - Terms & Conditions
- I certify that I meet the eligibility criteria and visa conditions for the destination I have selected.
- The applicable program fee is payable when I submit my application.
- I am a resident of Canada, my nationality is Canadian and I hold a valid Canadian passport.
- I understand that obtaining a valid work visa and all appropriate documentation to my chosen destination country is my own responsibility and is not included in program price.
- I understand I am responsible for all travel expenses to get to the country destination I have chosen and for travel within that country unless otherwise noted in my program package.

Work & Travel UK (Essential Package) - Terms & Conditions

- I understand that I am responsible for obtaining medical insurance for the entire duration of my stay (including, cancellation, medical and personal injury, death, third party risk, repatriation, loss of property). Refunds are not given in any of these situations.
- I understand that there is no refund for purchased GO International travel insurance.
- I authorize the use of my credit card information to purchase all items listed on this application of which I have clearly marked.
- I confirm that all information stated in my application and all other submitted documentation is correct and I understand that any information proven to be false may result in the cancellation of my program with no refund.
- I will reconfirm with GO INTERNATIONAL`S UK Partner Provider my emergency contact and next of kin details on arrival
- I agree to pay all fees, as published, in accordance with GO INTERNATIONAL and its affiliates’ requirements.
- I understand that I am required to submit all the requested documentation in a timely manner. GO INTERNATIONAL cannot be held responsible for any delay or additional cost caused by the participant’s failure to do so.
- GO INTERNATIONAL and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse any applicant who does not meet the programme eligibility requirements.
- The participant must attend the induction phase of the program upon arrival.
- That if the applicant wishes to alter or cancel their enrolment after the confirmation invoice has been issued – the loss of fees or extra charges may apply in such cases.
- I understand that I will be representing Canada and I will make every effort to be a good ambassador and understand that any anti-social behaviour may lead to expulsion from the program without reimbursement of any fees.
- I will respect the laws of the land as well as the rules and practices of the establishment of where I will be working.
- I understand that all travels before, during, and after the program are at my own risk and that operating any motorized vehicles, obtaining the necessary license, permission and insurance are my responsibility.
- GO INTERNATIONAL and its partners accept no liability or responsible either for the participant’s health & safety; or for any loss or damage to property; or any third party’s property or persons, howsoever or when caused. It is my responsibility to ensure that I am fit to travel and to undertake any duties that I intend carrying out.
- GO INTERNATIONAL and its partners shall not be responsible for or deemed to be in default by reason of delays in or failure of performance of this agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control and not being limited to civil war, war between nations, insurrections, strikes, riots, fires, floods, explosions, earthquakes, serious accidents, any act of government, governmental priorities, allocations, regulations, or orders affecting materials or facilities, acts of God or the public enemy, failure of transportation, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, or labour trouble causing cessation, slowdown or interruption of work and failure of suppliers and sub-contractors to furnish labour or materials within their contractual delivery times.
- Complaints must be made to programs@gointernational.ca and will be fully investigated by GO INTERNATIONAL; that in all cases GO INTERNATIONAL’s Work Experience Manager’s decision shall be final
- I am aware that this Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and Canada.

Work & Travel UK (Ultimate Package) - Terms & Conditions
- I certify that I meet the eligibility criteria and visa conditions for the destination I have selected. The applicable program fee is payable when I submit my application.
- I am a resident of Canada, my nationality is Canadian and I hold a valid Canadian passport.
- I understand that obtaining a valid work visa and all appropriate documentation to my chosen destination country is my own responsibility and is not included in program price. GO International and its UK Partner Provider is not responsible for delays, problems or losses resulting from my failing to do so.
- I understand I am responsible for all travel expenses to get to the country destination I have chosen and for travel within that country unless otherwise noted in my program package.
- Any request for a change of program after initial application, including, but not limited to changing flight dates and program start dates, is subject to a $100 administration fee.
- I must abide by the terms and conditions set by the individual program companies and operators. These include airlines, insurance providers, ground transport operators and accommodation providers. If I am uncertain about these terms and conditions I must contact GO International prior to departure.
- The information provided by GO International on our website and in written materials is accurate as of February 2011. - I authorize the use of my credit card information to purchase all items listed on this application of which I have clearly marked.
- I confirm that all information stated in my application and all other submitted documentation is correct and I understand that any information proven to be misleading or false may result in the cancellation of my program with no refund, before or after the commencement of the Training Placement.
- I can confirm that I have not been convicted of any criminal offences. (Can we ask this question?)
- I do not have any medical conditions, other than what specified in this Booking Form.
- Gross misconduct, use of drugs, dangerous or offensive behaviour, failure to perform duties as requested may result in the applicant expulsion from the program.
- GO International’s UK partner provider will offer 1 placement only
- No refunds will be offered for cancellations, refusal of placement, unauthorized change of dates and/or details resulting in the host company not been able to accept the applicant.
- I am aware of GO International’s Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- I have clearly stated the program “preferred start date” and “latest available date to receive the placement”: and if I cancel the program before the given “latest available date to receive the placement” – I understand that I will not be entitled to any refund.
- The majority of placements are in isolated locations: I understand that I cannot choose location, position or duties. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will select a suitable placement according to availability.
- In very extreme circumstances a Host Company may need to change the start or the end date of a program. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will inform me as soon as possible and, should the position be no longer suitable, another placement will be offered. In the unlikely event of the Host Company being suddenly unable to continue offering a training position to me, for reason not depending on my will or on my performance. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will offer another placement free of charge – however I shall be responsible for the travel costs to the new destination.
- The work program must start and finish as specified in this Booking Form. Unreasonable and/or unjustified changes or delays made by myself (the applicant) may result in GO International cancelling the applicant from the programme. No refund shall be offered.
- Travelling to the UK should not be arranged before a placement has been confirmed by GO International’s UK Partner Provider. GO International’s UK Partner Provider shall not be held responsible for loss or delays resulting from an applicant travelling before a confirmation is sent.
- GO International, Partners and Affiliates cannot not be held responsible for or deemed to be in default by reason of delays in or failure of performance of this agreement for causes beyond its reasonable control and not being limited to war between nations, civil war, riots, insurrections, fires, flood, extraordinary weather conditions, earthquake, explosions, serious accidents, strikes, action of government, act of God, labour dispute, communications power failure, civil commotion.

Volunteer India - Terms & Conditions
- I certify that I meet the eligibility criteria and visa conditions for the destination I have selected. The applicable program fee is payable when I submit my application.
- I am a resident of Canada, my nationality is Canadian and I hold a valid Canadian passport.
- I understand that obtaining a valid visa and all appropriate documentation to my chosen destination country is my own responsibility and is not included in program price.
- I understand I am responsible for all travel expenses to get to the country destination I have chosen and for travel within that country unless otherwise noted in my program package.
- I understand that I will be provided with transportation, meals and accommodation as a part of my program package, and any expenses outside of the program package is my own responsibility.
- Any request for a change of program after initial application, including, but not limited to changing flight dates and program start dates, is subject to a $100 administration fee.
- I must abide by the terms and conditions set by the individual program companies and operators. These include airlines, insurance providers, ground transport operators and accommodation providers. If I am uncertain about these terms and conditions I must contact GO International prior to departure.

English & Canadian Internship - Terms & Conditions
- I am able to work legally in Canada.
- I understand I am responsible for all travel expenses to get to Canada and for travel within Canada.
- I understand that GO International/Tamwood International College cannot guarantee me a job position that meets my preferences.
- I understand that I am solely responsible for finding and paying for my own accommodation while in Canada. All expenses relating housing and daily living including rent, utilities, furnishing, and food are my responsibility.
- I understand that I am expected to respect the property of the host company and will pay for property damage I cause. Destruction and/or theft of property will be grounds for disciplinary action. I will obey all Canadian federal, provincial and local laws. I agree to comply with my Canadian employer’s rules and policies, including but not limited to such matters as personal grooming and drug testing.
- I will carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position that GO International/Tamwood International College has arranged for me. I acknowledge that GO International/Tamwood International College only facilitates an arrangement between my employer and me and that any assignment relationship is solely between my employer and me.
- I confirm that my job assignment is temporary and runs for the duration specified in my placement details.
- I UNDERSTAND THAT GO INTERNATIONAL/TAMWOOD CANNOT GUARANTEE THE ACTUAL HOURS OF WORK AS REPRESENTED IN THE PROGRAM DESCRIPTION THAT I WILL GET AT MY JOB AS MY HOURS OF WORK MAY BE AFFECTED BY BAD WEATHER, ECONOMIC EVENTS, SEASONAL BUSINESS FLUCUATIONS AND OTHER FACTORS OUT OF THE CONTROL OF GO INTERNATIONAL/TAMWOOD. I UNDERSTAND I SHOULD BE AWARE THAT SOME JOBS WILL HAVE FLEXIBLE START DATES AND REDUCED HOURS DUE TO WEATHER OR ECONOMIC SITUATIONS. I UNDERSTAND I WILL COME PREPARED WITH SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO COVER MY EXPENSES SHOULD THESE PERIODS OCCUR.
- I understand that GO International/Tamwood International College will assist me in finding one job only. GO International/Tamwood International College will not locate secondary employment for me if I quit or get fired. Should either happen I will notify GO International/Tamwood International College in writing of my change of employment status.
- I understand GO International/Tamwood International College will find a job based a number factors which may include on the job market at the time, my English skills, time of year, length of stay, previous work experience and education.
- I understand I must accept the first job that is offered to me.
- I agree that I will perform my duties to the best of my ability and indemnify without limitation, Go International, its directors, its employees, agents and organizations affiliated with it, against any loss or damage suffered by any of them, or any claims made against any of them, as a result of any breach or negligence by me during my participation in the program.
- I understand that any cancellation is subject to GO International/Tamwood International College’s Cancellation Policy.
- I confirm that all information stated in my application, my curriculum vitae (CV) and other submitted documentation is correct and I understand that any information proven to be false may result in the cancellation of my program with no refund.
Please note that GO International/Tamwood International College does not "guarantee" any employment position or the amount of hours to be provided. GO International/Tamwood International College is a conduit between the employer and the employee. Employment conditions can change before or after arrival.

Please refer to the cancelation and refund policy provided by your booking agent. Your application to GO International is subject to that policy. Any refunds payable by GI will be paid to your booking agency.
Volunteer in Canada - Terms & Conditions

Cancellation, Refund and Program Change Policy
- Program Changes: Once an application has been accepted by GI, any changes requested by the participant to the start date, end date, program type or accommodation options will be made only if the change Is requested before Participant’s arrival in Canada and before any services have been rendered by GI to the Participant. Changes will be made only if space is available and the employer agrees and will be subject to a Program Change fee of $90. Any changes to the program dates resulting from a change made by the employer to the employment start date or end date will not be subject to the Program Change Fee.
- To be considered for a refund, a participant must submit a written and signed notice to GO International (“GI”) /Tamwood International College of withdraw from the program 30 days prior to the start of the work term. Verbal notices will not be considered.
- If written notice of withdrawal is received before the applicant has arrived in Canada and before a volunteer placement interview has been arranged, GI will retain $250 of the Program Fees under the contract as a cancellation fee, and refund the balance of the fees to the applicant.
- If the applicant withdraws from the program after he/she arrives in Canada or before arriving but after a volunteer placement interview has been arranged, GI will retain the full Program Fees as a cancellation fee.
- In the unlikely event that GI is unable to arrange a volunteer placement interview for the applicant, GI will refund the full Program Fees to the applicant and the applicant is not entitled to any other refund from GI or its booking agents, or to claim any loss or damage against GI or its booking agents arising from Tamwood failure to provide a work placement for the intern.
- If, after the interview with the host organization, the applicant is not offered a position by the employer, GI will attempt to secure up to a maximum of two more interviews. If the applicant is not successful in getting a volunteer placement offer as a result of these interviews, GI is under no obligation to arrange any more interviews for the applicant and the application can either pay GI to arrange more interviews at a cost of C$300 per interview, or withdraw from the program, in which case, GI will retain $80 of the Program Fees as a cancellation fee, and refund the balance of the Program Fees to the applicant, and the applicant is not entitled to any other refund from GI or its booking agents, or to claim any loss or damage against GI or its booking agents arising from GI’s failure to provide a volunteer placement for the applicant.
- The applicant is obligated to accept the volunteer work placement arranged for him/her by GI. If the applicant refuses to participate in the interview or in the volunteer work placement arranged for him/her by GI, GI is under no obligation to arrange another volunteer work placement for the applicant and the applicant can either withdraw from the program or pay GI to arrange another placement at a cost of $300 per additional interview arranged. If the applicant withdraws from the program, the applicant forfeits his/her full Program Fees. The applicant is not entitled to any other refund or to claim any losses against GI or its agents, as result of his/her failure to secure a volunteer work placement
- Once the applicant has been assigned a position for his/her volunteer work placement, if the applicant requests a change to the dates of the work placement, GI will put the request to the host organization which can either accept or reject the applicant’s request. If the host organization accepts the request, the change in program dates (and accommodation dates if necessary) will be made subject to the applicant paying GI a Program Change Fee of C$90.
- If the participant fails to achieve the level of English skills required to start the volunteer work placement arranged for the participant, GI reserves the right to cancel the participant’s acceptance in the program and will refund the participant the full Program Fees in the form of a credit note that can be applied by the participant against the purchase price of English classes from Tamwood International College within 12 months of the date of the credit note.

Refunds after the Volunteer Work Placement Starts
Once the applicant has started his/her volunteer work placement, if the applicant withdraws from the program or is dismissed from his/her employment by the host organization, the Program Fees are non-refundable. -
Refunds of Other Fees
When homestay is selected, participants must provide written notification of cancellation of homestay accommodation a minimum of 4 weeks prior to cancellation date in order to qualify for refund of unused accommodation fees. Homestay is not available in Vancouver during July to August and in Whistler during November to April. -
Payment of Refunds Owing to Participants
Refunds owing to a Participant eligible for a refund shall be paid to the Participant’s booking agency within thirty (30) days of GO International receiving written notification of withdrawal, or within thirty (30) days of written notice of dismissal. All bank fees associated with payment of a refund are the responsibility of the Participant.
Canadian Working Holiday & Camp Canada - Terms & Conditions
- I am able to work legally in Canada.
- I understand I am responsible for all travel expenses to get to Canada and for travel within Canada.
- I understand that GO International/Tamwood International College cannot guarantee me a job position that meets my preferences.
- I understand that I am solely responsible for finding and paying for my own accommodation while in Canada. All expenses relating housing and daily living including rent, utilities, furnishing, and food are my responsibility.
- I understand that I am expected to respect the property of the host company and will pay for property damage I cause. Destruction and/or theft of property will be grounds for disciplinary action. I will obey all Canadian federal, provincial and local laws. I agree to comply with my Canadian employer’s rules and policies, including but not limited to such matters as personal grooming and drug testing.
- I will carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position that GO International/Tamwood International College has arranged for me. I acknowledge that GO International/Tamwood International College only facilitates an arrangement between my employer and me and that any assignment relationship is solely between my employer and me.
- I confirm that my job assignment is temporary and runs for the duration specified in my placement details.
- I UNDERSTAND THAT GO INTERNATIONAL/TAMWOOD CANNOT GUARANTEE THE ACTUAL HOURS OF WORK AS REPRESENTED IN THE PROGRAM DESCRIPTION THAT I WILL GET AT MY JOB AS MY HOURS OF WORK MAY BE AFFECTED BY BAD WEATHER, ECONOMIC EVENTS, SEASONAL BUSINESS FLUCUATIONS AND OTHER FACTORS OUT OF THE CONTROL OF GO INTERNATIONAL/TAMWOOD. I UNDERSTAND I SHOULD BE AWARE THAT SOME JOBS WILL HAVE FLEXIBLE START DATES AND REDUCED HOURS DUE TO WEATHER OR ECONOMIC SITUATIONS. I UNDERSTAND I WILL COME PREPARED WITH SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO COVER MY EXPENSES SHOULD THESE PERIODS OCCUR.
- I understand that GO International/Tamwood International College will assist me in finding one job only. GO International/Tamwood International College will not locate secondary employment for me if I quit or get fired. Should either happen I will notify GO International/Tamwood International College in writing of my change of employment status.
- I understand GO International/Tamwood International College will find a job based a number factors which may include on the job market at the time, my English skills, time of year, length of stay, previous work experience and education.
- I understand I must accept the first job that is offered to me.
- I agree that I will perform my duties to the best of my ability and indemnify without limitation, Go International, its directors, its employees, agents and organizations affiliated with it, against any loss or damage suffered by any of them, or any claims made against any of them, as a result of any breach or negligence by me during my participation in the program.
- I understand that any cancellation is subject to GO International/Tamwood International College’s Cancellation Policy.
- I confirm that all information stated in my application, my curriculum vitae (CV) and other submitted documentation is correct and I understand that any information proven to be false may result in the cancellation of my program with no refund.

GO International/Tamwood International College is a conduit between the employer and the employee. Employment conditions can change before or after arrival.

Cancellation and Refunds for International Students
Refund of Tuition Fees before the program start date
- If a student visa is denied by Immigration Canada, there will be a full refund of the tuition fees for the program.
- If the student withdraws from the program less than seven (7) days after registration, Tamwood will refund all of the tuition fees minus $400CAN/$275USD.
- If the student withdraws more than four (4) weeks before the program start date, Tamwood will refund 90% of the tuition fees for the program.
- If the student withdraws less than four (4) weeks before the program start date, Tamwood will refund 70% of the tuition fees for the program.
Refund of Tuition Fees after the program start date
If the student withdraws or is dismissed from the program after it has started, the following refund policies apply:
- Up to 10% of program attended — 50% refund
- Up to 30% of program attended — 30% refund
- More than 30% of program attended — 0% refund
Refund of Accommodation Fees
A full refund of accommodation fees will be given when canceling with more than four (4) weeks' notice; when canceling with less than four weeks notice, refunds will be given minus the first / next four (4) weeks' fees.
Payment of Refunds Owing to Students
Refunds owing to students shall be paid to the student within thirty (30) days of Tamwood receiving written notification of withdrawal, or within thirty (30) days of written notice of dismissal.
** Tamwood International College reserves the right to inform Citizenship and Immigration Canada of all program cancellations.
General Conditions of Enrollment
- Tamwood International College accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to the personal belongings or property of a student or program participant or for any injury to or death of a student or program participant occurring on or off school property.
- It is a condition of the student’s participation in any Tamwood program that the student complies with the rules of the school as set out in the Student Handbook provided on the first day of classes. Failure to comply with these rules could result in dismissal. Tamwood’s policies on admissions, dispute resolution and dismissal can be found in the Student Handbook.
- All students attending a Tamwood program must have valid medical insurance for their entire study period. Students who do not provide Tamwood with proof of valid medical insurance on their first day of classes can purchase their insurance through Tamwood. No student will be allowed to attend a Tamwood program until they have provided Tamwood with proof of valid medical insurance.
