English CO-OP Program
Offered through Tamwood International College in Vancouver and Whistler. This paid work and study program is designed to allow students to develop their English skills through a combination of English classes and paid work experience in a Canadian company. Most jobs are entry level service jobs in the hotel, retail or tourism industry. The jobs allow students to take what they have learned in class and put it into practice in a "real world" situation. Students study English for as much time as they spend in the work placement.
English Coop - Whistler Olympic Fun- Program
Be part of Olympic history by working, living and studying in Whistler during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Offered through Tamwood International College in Whistler, this work and study program combines English classes with a work practicum with Whistler Blackcomb, the ski resort operator. Through a combination of English classes and paid work experience with Whistler Blackcomb, students will enhance their English skills for use in the "real world". The students study English for as much time as they spend in the work placement. Students will have free time to ski/ride with their FREE season's pass and to take in all the exciting events and activities associated with the Olympic Games in Whistler.
Cambridge Work Experience Program
Offered through Tamwood International College in Vancouver. This work and study program is designed to allow students to develop the English skills they need for their career through a combination of English classes and work experience in Canadian company. Students in this program qualify for the Cambridge University International Examinations "CIE" Certificate of Work Experience.
