Work & Travel Australia
There's no better way to get to know Australia than to work with Australians. Working in Australia will give you unique insight into Australian life, valuable experience and some money for your travels!
You can work in just about any job available in Australia, for up to four months for U.S. participants, and for up to 12 months (3 months with one employer) for all other eligible nationalities. Most participants take 2 or 3 jobs during their stay.
Getting work in Australia is easy when you take part in this program. We
provide you with valuable pre-departure information, medical insurance
for your stay and assistance booking your flight. Our program partner in
Australia has everything to support you during your stay in Australia.
When you arrive in Sydney your first stop should be our Australian partner’s headquarters’ "HQ".
HQ's friendly staff will issue you with your exclusive Membership Card
that will give you access to the centre, photocopying, printing and the
internet.
Once at HQ you will attend an arrival orientation to help you settle into
Australian life. After the orientation and for the duration of your stay
you can use HQ as little or as much as you like. Resources at your finger
tips include:

- Accommodation information
- Employment information and support
- Free admission to the weekly Job Workshop
- Mail keeping and mail forwarding services
- Buses, tours and air travel at competitive rates
- Free Email and Internet access (Conditions Apply)
- Advice and booking services for educational courses
- Photocopy and fax services
As part of your program you are entitled to
a JOB OFFER arranged by the program Employment Coordinator during your stay.
